God is Faithful

It seems like everytime I log into TypePad (my blog host) the layout has changed and the login link has moved. Has it been a long time since I've been here? Busy, busy with getting the house ready for listing. We've painted, decluttered, and decorated and we are moving forward with the sale...with some reservations since the market has really soured in Phoenix in the past few months. Interest rates are up, inventory is steadily rising, and homes are staying on the market for months instead of weeks. But we must persevere; Ben starts his new job in Flagstaff next week while we will remain here until our house sells.

I remember praying about this opportunity on the drive to Flagstaff when Ben had his third interview. I also asked my friends Leti and Whitney to pray that God would open the door if this was the right opportunity, and slam it tightly shut if it were not. This weekend at church, I prayed again about the move and looked up just in time to see a verse on the screen that read, "My promises are backed by my Name." Thank you Father, for your faithfulness and for the reminder that I can relax and rest in your promise.
