How hot is it?

So after we've been sweltering in the heat for the last month, tomorrow promises to break records by hitting an astounding 115 degrees! Are you kidding me? Not to mention that the humidity is rising, so we will be sweltering soon. This time of year is when I wonder why I continue to live in Phoenix. Thankfully, for the first time this year, we've not had friends or family visiting from out of state. Right now, we literally exist from our air-conditioned cars to our air-conditioned homes and offices. We spend a lot of time at the mall or the movies (where someone else pays for it to be cool!). And we eat lots of ice-cream. On the flip side, come and see me when you are digging out of snow and we are enjoying picnics in the park. The expectation of things to come is the only thing that keeps me going.
