What do you mean, I haven't posted in more than 1 month?? Then again, this webblog is primarily for me so there is no pressure. (smile)
Today I just wanted to say that I'm so proud of how well Samantha is coming along with her reading. She devours Junie B. Jones books and looks forward to going to the library to get the next one. I got her some through Scholastic and she spent the entire afternoon into the evening reading those books. I love that she is a reader!
I talked with her teacher briefly on Monday morning and she said that Samantha is one of her best readers. Later that afternoon Samantha told me that Mrs. Gogal let her sit in her "blue chair" while the other kids sat on the carpet...and Samantha read a Stuart Little chapter book to the class. Beam, beam. In spite of the rough moments, she certainly does a Mommy proud. Here she is reading to Grandma.
