Ben asked me to write a bio for him earlier this week. As I googled for some examples, I came across a format called a bio poem that I thought would be perfect for my blog. I completed my own bio and finally updated the About Me section of my blog. I'm repeating it here...

Intelligent, conservative, often impatient, sentimental, and God-fearing.
Wife to Ben.
Mommy to Megan & Samantha.
Daughter to Elizabeth & Bobby.
Sister to Rachel & Karen.
Loves…my family, chocolate, scrapbooking (digital & paper), and intelligent conversation.
Fears…starting a fire at home, losing a child, speaking in front of crowds.
Feels that…childhood is too short, and that you should live your life to please yourself and not obsess about what others think.
Needs…her family and friends, her cell phone, NPR, and God’s grace & mercy.
Looks forward to…owning a chocolate lab, traveling to Europe & Hawaii, and living long enough to see my grandkids.
Can’t…leave the house without coming back to check that all the hot appliances are turned off.
Wants…to see more women standing up against the way women are portrayed in music videos.
